With the 2026 cannabis market in full swing, Minneapolis has officially moved past its "hidden gem" phase. Between the massive industry expos and the local "Silicon Valley" of THC beverages, the Twin Cities are now a premier destination for cannabis enthusiasts across the Midwest.

Planning a trip to the 612? Here is your curated guide to a "High-End" weekend in Minneapolis.

The Gateway: Northeast Minneapolis

Start where the soul of the scene lives. Northeast (or "NE") is the historic home of our brewing culture, and it’s now the heart of the cannabis movement.

  • Visit Us: Swing by Simply Crafted to see our latest artisan batches. Our team can help you navigate the 2026 OCM regulations and find the perfect product for your weekend.

  • The Vibe: Grab a THC-infused seltzer at a local taproom like Modist or Indeed, where "on-site consumption" has turned beer gardens into botanical retreats.

Bde Maka Ska in Minneapolis

The Great Outdoors: Bde Maka Ska & Beyond

Minneapolis is the City of Lakes for a reason. There is no better way to experience the "Minnesota Sweet Spot" (that perfect 5mg buzz) than on the water.

  • The Move: Pack a cooler of Simply Crafted drinks and head to Bde Maka Ska. Rent a kayak or a paddleboard and enjoy the skyline views. Note: Remember that smoking/vaping isn't allowed on park property, but a crisp beverage is the perfect, discrete lakeside companion.

The Munchie Map: Eat Like a Local

Northeast isn't just for drinks.

  • Young Joni: For world-class pizza in a vibe-heavy setting.

  • The Food Trucks: Follow the scent of wood-fired ovens and taco grills that line the streets of the Arts District every weekend.

Stay & Play

Look for "Cannabis-Friendly" stays in the North Loop. Many boutique hotels are now highlighting local THC beverage selections in their minibars, ensuring your "nightcap" is local and hangover-free.

Pro-Tip for Visitors:

Minnesota laws are unique. You can buy 5mg drinks at many grocery and liquor stores, but for the "Full Strength" experience and the highest-quality artisan extractions, always stick to dedicated retailers like Simply Crafted.

Welcome to the North Star State. Stay elevated.
